Chennai: MDMK general secretary Vaiko and PMK founder S Ramadoss today strongly condemned the suspicious death of five men from Tamilnadu in Andhra Pradesh. They had also pressed for a CBI enquiry into the matter today.

It all started when as many as six bodies were found in a small lake in Ontimitta yesterday morning.

Later in that day, Kadapa SP Nagi Reddy said that the six bodies, all men, have been recovered by his team.

Sources said all the bodies were aged between 30 and 40 years. Even as the incident has created panic in the area, the police are yet to identify the deceased.

But what comes as a shocking news is that, sources added, none of the bodies have any external injuries.

Since they were found floating in the lake, there has been speculation that the men may have been woodcutters most probably from Tamilnadu, brought in by red sanders smugglers.
