He said this while launching his firm’s new antioxidant water making machine at an event in Chennai on Wednesday. Their product Trim Ion Ti 9000 has been launched following a joint venture with Chennai-based company Medinippon Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
“Drinking hydrogen rich electrolysed water causes the negatively charged hydroxyl ions in them to bond with the positively charged free radicals found in our body neutralising them. Thus, continued consumption and usage of this water for domestic purposes like cooking, cleaning vegetables etc., will have immense health benefits by helping to fight the damage produced by free radicals in the body,” he added.
Medinippon Healthcare Pvt Ltd, COO, B Venkatasubramanyam, said, “The product has a market share of 60 per cent in Japan with a turnover of 160 million USD in the last fiscal. With an estimated market size of 20,000 pieces per annum, we are likely to grow at 12 per cent CAGR. With entry into Chennai now, we will soon be expanding to rest of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and would be present across South India by end of the year. We expect to gain the confidence of 600 clients in the first year and expand the customer base to 5,000 clients by end of third year pan India.”
