Vellore: A training programme along with assistance to graduates (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology and Mathematics and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) will be conducted at VIT University.
“Efforts will be taken to provide job opportunities for the trained with a good salary,” VIT University Chancellor and Universal Higher Education Trust (UHET) president G Viswanathan said in a press release.
It may be recalled that UHET had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aspire Systems (India), Chennai last year to provide skill enhancement and employment programme, called Project Shine, in Computer Applications and Information Technology to science graduates. The training programmeunder this MoU is currently on at VIT.
The eligibility test and interview will be held on 4 November at 10 am in the university premises, the Chancellor said. Those who have passed BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Technology and BCA in 2016 and 2017 with at least 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for the training programme.
