Chennai: Velammals U-19 Basketball boys team has emerged victorious in the Inter-state Basketball tournament held at Annai Sathya stadium, Tanjore between 26 September and 1 October. Organised by Mamannan Raja Raja Cholan Rural Educational Trust, 16 teams from different states took part in the Tournament. Dubai: Just when we thought cricket couldnt get any shorter, The United Arab Emirates will introduce a new format with international stars Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara and Eoin Morgan featuring in a T10 league in December.
