Chennai: Finally, the wait is over as the seventh season of Game of Thrones as it was back on screen from today with its own twists and turns.
The American TV series that grabbed huge attention of youths especially from Chennai, had six long episodes and the next season after a break was released today.
News Today, had conversation with some of the youngsters about how much excited they are and spotlit some of the impacts of GOT on them.
“As soon as I woke up in the morning I uninstalled Facebook because I don’t want to see any spoilers coming up and I’m super pumped up about the episodes. Can’t wait to watch it every Monday,” says Priyankha, a journalist.
“I look forward to the rise of starks this season and the white walkers are finally on the wall. The character Arya is my inspiration right from the first season and I follow her path in bravery. As I will be delivering my baby in three months I am planning to name him/her as Arya,” says Yashika, an IT employee.
WHY NOT BAELISH?
“Generally, when we start loving a particular character in GOT, then George (one of the directors of the series) will kill the character within some episodes and that is what I think Baelish is not yet killed. But the featuring of this particular
character and the way he carries is just amazing,”says Rithka, a college-goer.
WHAT’S THE BUZZ ABOUT SEASON 7? DAENARYS ARRIVES AT DRAGSTONE
The island of Dragonstone, home of House Targaryen for some time, will obviously play a large role in the episode, with Daenerys likely reaching the island and setting up shop this episode. Chances are, she’ll be here for some time, so don’t expect anything too riveting, minus one scene where she sits her bottom majestically onto the island’s throne.
FINALLY THE WINTER
For Jon Snow, season six finished with the Stark/Targaryen being crowned King in the North by his fellow men. However, as all Starks know, Winter has finally come, and the young hero knows the true danger of the White Walkers. Chances are, this episode Jon will at least begin preparations to set off to meet Daenerys.
JUST BAELISH THINGS
With Jon gone, Littlefinger will likely seize the opportunity to split the family, attempting to manipulate Sansa against Jon. After all, Jon’s a bastard and she’s a real Stark, why should she bow down to him? However, Sansa’s become a keen manipulator herself, so expect a battle of wits to begin between the two.
