After Fy Fy Fy (Pandiya Nadu) became a chartbuster, Ramya Nambeesan is sought by composers in Kollywood to sing their songs.

Now, Dharan, who had roped her to sing a peppy number in Natpuna Enna Theriyuma, has recorded a melodious duet with the actress-singer for the upcoming film Aruva Sandai.

The film, directed by Aadhirajan, who had previously directed Silanthi, has newcomer Raja and Malavika Menon as the lead actors.

"Generally, Ramya has been singing folk numbers or peppy ones, but this one, titled Chittu Chittu Kuruvi, is a softer one — a melody. It has a rural flavour, and will be raw, and Ramya’s tone will feel new for listeners," says the composer, and adds that Balaji, a newcomer, has sung the male portions.
