The veteran Bollywood filmmaker when addressing at the 'Thanks Giving' meet of the Nayanthara starrer broke that his mother wants him to learn how to narrate a story from director Ajay Gnanamuthu.
Said Kashyap, "My mother never liked even a single movie I have made and she won't understand why are they being made." He further praised Ajay for being so clear about what he was doing.
"By the time the shoot of 'Imaikka Nodigal' took off and was released after two years, I had released three movies. We had a lot of breaks and rescheduling as there were a number of hurdles. Overcoming all that, Ajay made it very clear and was tracking each day of our shoot and was resuming it from the right place whenever we had a break,' Anurag said.
He also pointed out that Ajay was making everything possible with minimal resources and it was something awestruck.
Atharvaa, when speaking at the meeting elaborated on how he and Ajay were trying to find a producer for 'Imaikka Nodigal.'
"Since the budget was a little high, we could not convince a producer. But, the two-year wait turns out to be meaningful when we have a success like this," he said.
Ajay Gnanamuthu said, "It was an inclusive effort. Whoever involved in the making of Imaikka Nodigal did something beyond what they were meant for. Be it Nayanthara, Atharvaa, Hiphop Aadhi to Abirami Ramanathan and Anbuchezhiyan, it was everyone who made this success possible."
The emotional struck Ajay hinted that he was going to start his next script which too would be along with ace writer Pattukottai Prabakar who penned the dialogues for 'Imaikka Nodigal.'
