Mani Ratnam hospitalised due to heart complication

Chennai: Renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam is admitted to a private hospital in Thousand Lights area in the city today.

The legendary filmmaker who has made iconic movies like 'Thalapathy', 'Nayagan', 'Bombay' and 'Roja' suffered from heart trouble this afternoon and was immediately taken to the hospital.

Mani Ratnam was busy with the post production works of his upcoming film 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arvind Swamy and Arun Vijay in the lead.
