Kajal to act in 'Paris Paris'

Chennai: "It was my desire to act in a women-centric movie and it came true with Paris Paris," says Kajal Agarwal.

Paris Paris is a Tamil remake of Kanagana Ranaut's blockbuster Queen.

Directed by Ramesh Aravind, it is being made in four different languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam).

Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead in the film. The shooting for the movie is almost complete and plans are on for a big release soon.

Speaking to News Today, Kajal Agarwal, says, "I was in awe when I saw Queen. Kangana gave her best. It was about the struggle and achievements of a girl which was shot extremely well."

"I was surprised when the makers approached me to do the film. Initially I was hesitant. Today after seeing the way the movie has been shot, I think I did the best by accepting to do the movie."

A happy Ramesh Aravind, says, "I saw Queen as a fan. I was pleasantly surprised when I was asked to direct the Tamil and Kannada version of the movie."

Kajal suits the role well. She was brilliant and spontaneous.  As Parameshwari, she has lived her character. The movie is noit an absolute remake. We made enough changes to suit Tamil audience."

Music for Paris Paris is by Amith Trivedi, who scored the music for the original, Rameh Aravind says and adds, "All credits to my producer Manu Kumaran for giving me the freedom to shoot what I want without any interference."
