Appa should give us some time: Ayshwarya

"Appa has lost out a lot on family time so I think it's important for him to make up as far as that is concerned. I wouldn't want him to retire totally, but take it slow and give his family some time," says elder daughter of Rajinikanth Aishwarya Dhanush.

In an interview to Rediff, Aishwarya, says, "I wouldn't want him to retire totally, but take it slow."

Married to national award winning actor Dhanush, Aishwarya is a director, producer, script writer, author, a trained singer and classical dancer and a UN Women's Advocate for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment in India.

Asked should Rajini retirement from acting, she says, "I know how much pleasure he gives people. So I wouldn't want him to retire totally, but take it slow and give his family some time."

Asked how was it having a super-busy superstar as father, Aishwarya says, "My dad was not around too much when we were growing up because he was doing seven films a year, which is a lot. He was working pretty much every day of the year."

It may be recalled that Aishwarya when asked what was the smartest advice she received from Rajini, she said, "My dad always tells this to everybody, ‘This too shall pass’. It’s the best life lesson for anybody. Do not hold on to anything too much, whether it’s happiness or sorrow."
