He is pinning hopes on his next venture titled Thodra, which is based on honour killing. It is directed by K Bhagyaraj's assistant Madhuraj, who had earlier distributed several films in the past.

Says Madhuraj, "My film speaks about contemporary relationships in the society and how the social strata divide people. It is based on two important real-life incidents that shook the northern districts of Tamilnadu. It would be an emotional drama like Kadhal."

Much recently the audio of the movie was released.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhagyaraj expressed confidence that Thodra will make it big. "The crux of the story is different and much relevant for the day. I am confident that the movie would give Prithvirajan a fresh lease of life."
