Money was refunded to fans who booked tickets in advance. There were no screening following a Madras High Court's stay on a petition that Hindi remake rights of the thriller was sold to two individuals.
The petition came up for hearing before the court on Wednesday. The stay order was issued after enquiry in the evening. As a result, morning shows in over 300 screens were stopped.
Sources say that negotiations are still on and that a settlement would be arrived by evening.
