Known to be choosy of his roles, Raj Kiran is donning the character of Bhagwan in Pagadai. As a jail convict, fretting and fuming of a job unfinished inside the four walls, Bhagwan finds the man he was looking for in Masi.
Understanding the scenario, the youngster is all ears to the words of wisdom from the experienced Bhagwan. There is an amazing change in his outlook to life as Masi takes the onus of setting right a few things.
Interesting segments of the happenings in jail were canned in Central Prison by director Rajkrishna, also handling the story, screenplay and dialogues. The movie is produced by K K Usha for Amirthalaya Cine Creations.
Raj Kiran said he had put on hold a few offers after Muni before the Pagadai act. 'I saw depth and lot of character on hearing the script. It looked too good to be true in the shades of realism attached to the characters. It has been shaping up nicely but there is lot more to do.'
