        Despite his good looks, Jai Akash has been struggling to establish a place for himself in the Tamil film industry. He had fared well in a slew of films in the recent past, but none succeeded at the box office.

        The actor has now bagged a plump role in an action-packed flick titled Adada Anna Azhagu. Acting opposite him is a newcomer from Mumbai, Nichole. Directed by Jayamurugan, the romantic thriller has Ashish Vidyarthi playing the baddie and Karunaas as the comedian.

        Kicchas cranks the camera and newcomer Jayam Thomas is composing the music. The movie went to floors recently.

        Jai Akash is optimistic about the movie. 'It has different story and I am confident that it would present me in a different dimension on screen', he says.

        Plans are on to churn out the movie simultaneously in Telugu too.
