Ravikrishna is back after a year's gap. Son of producer A M Rathinam, the young actor is part of a bi-lingual (Netru Indru Nalai in Tamil and Nina Nedu Repu in Telugu).
After the success of 7G Rainbow Colony, nothing much had happened for Ravikrishna. His successive films including Sukkran and Kedi evoked a lukewarm response.
In order to break the jinx, the actor chose to wait. 'After Kedi, I came across a lot of scripts. But they were nothing out of the ordinary. Bidding my time, I got hooked to Netru Indru Naalai, where three segments of youth get portrayed'.
Ravikrishna says, 'it is a youthful subject with a spice of mystery and comedy. Easily one of the best that I played after 7G Rainbow Colony. The entire movie unfolds in three days'.
Ravikrishna sports a new look having shed his weight considerably.
The movie is directed by Lakshmikanthan, who wielded the megaphone for Telugu hit Hyderabad Nawab. On his part, he said, 'Ravikrishna stands out in the movie. He fits the role well. Cinematography by Arul Vincent, an associate of P C Sreeram, is a major highlight'.
Akshara and Tamanna play the heroines while Nasser and Karunaas are also in the cast. Debutant Anil has scored the music.
Produced by Soorya Prakash, Netru Indru Naalai will be released soon.
