Shreya, Vadivelu come together

Shreya, the damsel from Tollywood, is making waves in Tamil cinema after Sivaji. She touched a peak playing Rajnikanth's heroine in the magnum opus. Flooded with offers, Shreya is currently hot property in Kollywood sharing the screen with biggies like Vijay, Vikram and Ajit.

A household name in Andhra Pradesh, Shreya is shooting for Azhagiya Thamizh Magan opposite Vijay, in Kanthaswamy with Vikram and an untitled movie with Vikram as well. She has been roped in to play the title role in Priyadharshan's forthcoming Hindi venture too.

The big news is that the actress is now appearing alongside Vadivelu in Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan. Shreya appears for a song in Mallika Sherawata...Marlin Moroeva... which was shot recently at Amba Samudhiram.

Vadivelu and Shreya shaked their legs for the songs accompanied by over 100 junior artistes in a grand set erected at Amba Samudhiram.

A film with mythology as the theme, Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan features Vadivelu as the hero. He plays triple roles in the movie - Lord Indira, Yamaraja and an ordinary youth Azhagappan.

Produced by Manickam Narayanan, the movie's musical score is by Sabesh - Murali. Thambi Ramiah is wielding the megaphone and the film features Yamini Sharma, Nasser and Sumithra, and directors Thambi Ramiah and Raj Kapoor.

According to Thambi Ramiah, 'we wanted Shreya to appear for a song sequence in the movie. When I mooted the idea to my producer (Manickam Narayanan), he readily agreed. Amidst her busy schedule, the young actress gracefully accepted our invitation'.

On his experiences shooting for the song, he said, 'it is a fast-paced song and both Vadivelu and Shreya gave their best. It was shot in a grand manner and would be a major highlight of the movie'.

'With an actor like Vadivelu by my side and a generous producer like Manickam Narayanan, I am confident that Indiralohathil will shape up well', Thambi Ramiah adds.

Plans are on to release the movie this December.
