        For Arun Kumar, son of yesteryear hero Vijayakumar, success has been elusive for sometime. Things appeared to have changed after a good outing in Azhagay Irukirai Bayamai Irukiradhu.

        The actor is now awaiting the release of his next film Vedha, directed by debutant Nithya Kumar.

        The director had served as associate to the likes of K Subash and S J Suryah. Arun Vijay teams with Ilavattam- fame Sheela for Vedha.

        Jerovadhan, son of senior Tamilnadu police officer Sarabjith Singh, is making his debut in the movie. Srikanth Deva is scoring the music. Besides he has appeared for one of the songs in the movie.

        Speaking about the film, the director said, 'It dwells on friendship and sacrifices being made by friends. A touchy tale of emotions and sentiments is Vedha'.

        Producer Vasu Baskar has penned the story and screenplay. Arun is confident of Vedha's success at the box office.

        'An innovative storyline and hardwork of the cast and crew will be rightly rewarded', he says.
