        Vishal's Malaikottai is progressing at a rapid pace. Director Boopathy Pandian is lending his trademark touch catering to youth. Priya Mani is paired with Vishal.

        'The movie features Vishal as a happy-go-lucky man out on vacation in Trichy. Love is instant for him running into Priya Mani. She has quite a handful of problems to be sorted out. With Vishal as her Man Friday, Priya tides over a difficult situation', says Boopathy Pandian 'Ashish Vidyarthi and Kannada actor Devaraj are the 'bad elements' in the movie. Mayilsamy, Manobala and Kadhal Dhandapani are also in the cast'.

        In Pandian's view, Mani Sharma's musical score, in tune with the script, could well turn out to be the movie's highlight. Stunts (Kanal Kannan) and Vaithi (cinematography) are the other important names.

        The team includes G Sasikumar (editing), Kalyan Shobi (dance director) and Na Muthukumar and Yugabharathi (lyrics).
