Giant Arowanas, catfishes and flower horns peer at you from their glass enclosures. There are other fish too, unusual and unrecognisable, beauteous all the same, gliding gracefully in their tanks. ‘Ornamental Fish Expo’ being held at Valluvar Kottam, Nungambakkam, is just the right place for fish enthusiasts.

A visual treat is what hobbyists, breeders and entrepreneurs can expect at this Expo organized by Prinszone Expo private limited. Their aim- to take ornamental fish trade to new heights and develop breeding techniques, display systems and accessories.

The show features over 50 stalls with more than 500 varieties of ornamental and vaasthu fishes besides aquarium accessories and pet food.Besides fish, cute little hamsters, rabbits, pigeons, cockatoos, budgerigars and quails scurry about their cages or chirp away in right earnest as they wait to become pets in caring households.
