The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that director Lingusamy will soon go to Mumbai. He is expected to direct the Hindi version of his Pongal release Vettai.

The movie features Arya, Madhavan, Samera Reddy and Amala Paul with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sources say that Salman Khan will be playing the role of Arya in the remake.

'After the release of Vettai, the Hindi remake will kickstart in a few months. Salman Khan, who was impressed with the story, has agreed to work on the script. Linguswamy is all set to direct a Hindi film, which will be his next after Vettai,' they add.
