Sir

The India team that lost the first Test against Australia by 122 runs at Melbourne, will have a tough time during the rest of the series and Aussie  pacer James Pattinson would prove to be their nemesis. Pattinson took four wickets in India's second innings.

.

Former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif has said, 'I picked Pattinson as the bowler who will cause problems to the Indian batsmen the most because of his height and pace, which is ideal for Australian wickets. And no matter how great a batsman one is, with age his reflexes slows down,'  Latif pointed out.

'I reckon some of the senior Indian batsmen today are not as sharp as they used to be even two years back. Given the experience of runs that they carry with them some of them will still score runs but I don't see them dominating the Aussie bowlers like they did on previous tours to Australia or even in 2008,' he added.

The former wicketkeeper-batsman said Pattinson was one of the brightest finds for Australia in the pace department.

'After (Glenn) McGrath and Brett Lee, I think he is the best pacer I have seen from Australia and I see him doing well and improving rapidly in this series,' he said.

Pattinson, 21, won the Man-of-the-Match award for his six wickets and his crucial contribution with the bat (18 not out and 37 not out) in the first Test.
