Student-painters awarded prizes

A total of 3,500 students participated in a painting competition organised by  State Bank of Hyderbad at Mother Teresa Womens Complex  in Chennai and the winners of the competition were awarded on Monday.
.

Dramatist 'Crazy' Mohan and managing director of State Bank of Hyderbad Bhavantha Rao presided over the function.

The competition was open to students from class 1 to 12 and were  divided into three age categories. The winners were selected in two stages. About 50 entries in each category were shortlisted by two drawing experts from schools based on creativity and talent.

Out of the shortlisted entries 'Crazy' Mohan, himself an expert in drawing pictures apart from his acting and script- writing  skills, selected the winners.
