To offer package tours to foreign tourists during the Durga Puja festival next month, West Bengal tourism department is planning to run 10 Volvo buses to take them mainly to heritage family puja pandals during the festival.

Announcing this, Tourism Minister Rachpal Singh told reporters that they had in mind family pujas like Sovabazar Rajbari and Chhatu Babu Latu Babu Durga puja in the city.

 

He said the price of ticket for each seat in these buses would be Rs 500. The four-day Durga Puja festival would commence from October two.
