Kumbhabhishekam will be performed at Sri Gayathri Devi temple Mahathi Iyarkai Vivasayapannai at Poovalai village, Gummidipoondi taluk in Thiruvallur district on 25 February between 9 am and 10.30 am.

A press release here said special poojas and homams would be conducted as part of the consecration.  On 25 February, there would be a special darshan of the presding deity.

Special discourse by Pulavar Vidyasagar, Thirumurai Selvar K R Easwaran, Ilakkiyasudar Venkatji and Saraswath (Gayathri Parivaram) will take place.

With the blessings of Poojyasri Easamaha Guru couple and Sri Yagnesa Bhattarakar, the vimanams to all Shakti form of Sri Gayathri at the temple would be consecrated.
