        AVM Productions is churning a programme for womenfolk titled Mangayar Ulagam on Kalaignar TV.

        Being telecast on all days of the week at 6.30 am, the programme will be hosted by popular television anchor Revathy Shankaran. The half-an-hour programme will cover health tips, cookery, arts and crafts and medicine besides providing beauty tips to women. The programme is conceived and directed by Usha Saravanan. It is produced by M Saravanan and M S Guhan and co-produced by Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan.

        Makkal TV will air a programme Naanum Oru Mudhalaali on Sundays at 12.30 pm. This is for aspiring entrepreneurs who will get an opportunity to make their dreams come true. Nine contestants with entrepreneurial skills are chosen for the first round, where each will be given Rs.1,000.

        The participants are free to choose any business. They are required to market their products/ services in a day's time. At the end of the day, the contestants making the biggest bargains will reach the second round. The participant who reaps huge profit in the final round will be given a capital of Rs one lakh to start his/ her own business.
