Hard work alone pays

        Hardwork pays rich dividends and it is imperative to put in enormous effort to reap in success, observed S Susindran, managing director, Sabare International Limited.

        Speaking at a programme organised by Madras Management Associationn (MMA), as a part of management education, he said that he started his business with an open mind and succeeded braving all odds after initial hiccups. And his family members were a source of strength in his endeavour.

        'Actually my father wanted me for a charatered accountant career, but I had a business mind and was waiting for the opportune time to launch my independent career as a businessman', he said and business tycoon Ambani was an inspiration for him. Success willn't come overnight, one has put in lots of hard work. To precise, there is no gain without pain.

        Initially there were lots of disappointment for him in his export business when the US client rejected the order he placed sighting some reasons, he said adding that he was completely dejected. And timely help came from Canara Bank.

        Major S Laksh-manan, executive director, Madras Management As-sociation briefed about the two-day convention scheduled to be held on 16 February in Chennai. He said that the theme of the annual convention is 'Global Leader-ship: India can do it'. C K Ranga-nathan, president, MMA and CMD, Cavincare Pvt Ltd earlier welcomed the gathering. Shreen Ragha-van, director, Chennai Consul-tancy Services Pvt Ltd were among others who were present at the programme.
