IN TOP FORM: Shikkar Hukku starred in St John's school's win with a superb century.

        Shikkar Hukku figured prominently in piloting St John's (Besant Nagar) to a title triumph against St John's IRS (Poonamallee) by 241 runs in the two-day final of the Dr Raja Kumar memorial under-14 State-level schools cricket tournament here.

        Hukku, who scored 144 in 226 balls with 16 boundaries, was declared the player of the final.

        Scores: St. John's ES & JC (Besant Nagar) 321 (Shikkar Hukku 144, Sylvester Jayan 36, C. Asutosh 27, Dinesh Kumar 3 for 53) & 68 for five declared beat St. John's IRS (Poonamallee) 93 (Aravindan 39, Avusuthan 6 for 42) & 55 (S R Vibhu 3 for 9, K Siddarth 3 for 11).
