SC stays bandh
In a significant outcome, the Supreme Court today stayed the bandh call
given by the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) slated for tomorrow
in Tamilnadu. In a swift response in the aftermath of the Supreme Court
stay on the proposed bandh tomorrow, Tamilnadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi
has decided to go on a hunger strike.
Cop in soup for threatening couple
