        Science City, an organisation established by the government of Tamilnadu, under the Higher Education Department, invites projects in science and technology from IX, X and XII standard students studying in the State for the 'Children's Science Academy Awards 2006'.

        According to a press release, theoretical proposals may be sent in the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Social Science and Computer Science/IT.

        The proposals should reach the office before 15 February. The project could be submitted as a team not exceeding four students or as an individual.

        The award carries a cash prize and certificate.
