'Tamil Ina Maana Meetpu Iyakkam', a movement for retrieving Tamil, founded by PMK leader S Ramadoss has urged the Tamilnadu government to ensure that all Government Orders, being circulated within State, should be in Tamil.
Presiding over the function organised by the movement to retrieve Tamil, he said the movement would organise monthly workshop for the youth regarding how to protect Tamil.
He also said the members of the movement would organise sit-in agitation if the government fails to do so within three months.
Calling for the Tamil as the medium of instruction to be followed upto Plus two, Ramadoss said that they were not enemies of English and added students could learn other languages as optional subjects.
Coming down heavily on deterioration of Tamil nowadays, he said the members of the movement would respond to the queries like 'who, why, how and by whom' were all these changes made and strive hard for their responsible role in protecting Tamil.
Terming the movement as a good initiative for Tamils, Ramadoss said that it would register accolades in its course of action in protecting Tamil.
Felicitating Marxist-Periyarist Socialistic Party general secretary V Anaimuthu said that continuous battle pursued for protecting Tamil alone would yield desired results and added that the movement.
