DIVINE WEDLOCK: Sri Alarmelu-mangadevi and Sri Bhoomidevi Samedha Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal, the celestial couple which was united in a temple in suburban Nanganallur.

        The 12th celestial wedding of Sri Alarmelumangadevi with Sri Bhoomidevi Samedha Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal was held on 24 December at Sri Devi Karumariamman Temple at Thillai Ganga Nagar, Nanganallur, a suburb in Chennai.

        Devotees visited the temple in large numbers to see the celestial marriage. The speciality at the marriage every year is the football-size laddu, brick-size mysoorpa and tyre-size murukku and athirasam which were offered to the divine couple.
