Grand Nirvana Resort has set up a cruising villa on the serene backwaters of lake Vembanad in Kerala.
Speaking about the Grand Nirvana Lake resort to reporters, here yesterday, its chairman, PN Mohan, said, Kerala was a first choice because of its natural surroundings and it has become a tourism destination for global travelers.
'This first luxury boutique resort with 30 rooms facing the huge expanse of natural water is spread over 360 sq km,' Mohan said.
Its Indo-colonial type of architecture giving a majestic and breath taking look'.
The investment made in the resort is Rs 10 crore and membership in the Grand Nirvana holiday club would be announced soon' he added.
Depending on the success
of the boutique resort the company plans to put up three more resorts by
2010. One of them in Pune would span cross 15 acres in cottage style and
another in Kotagiri in Ooty on four acres and a third resort in Puducherry.
