Villupuram, Sept 27:
PMK has appealed that all should come forward to make the proposed bandh on 1 October on the Sethu issue a success without violence or damage to public or private property.
Speaking to reporters here, PMK founder leader Dr S Ramadoss said there was nothing new in holding general strikes on issues like the State's rights.'
To bring development projects here,to protect world Tamils and on several significant issues, we have observed bandhs since 1960s,' Ramadoss said and urged that the Union government should immediately implement the 'delayed' Sethu project.
'The general strike on 1
October should be held peacefully without causing harm to the public or
private and public properties,' the PMK chief said.
