        As part of its corporate social responsibility, Hindustan Unilever Ltd launched a drive on its power brand Domex.

        The campaign was undertake to educate the masses about toilet sanitisation and to create awareness about disease causing germs that come out of toilets.

        The aim of this drive is to bring to light the results of the research conducted by Unilever Global Research Centre. The company carried out an extensive research spanning three years to study Indian toilet habits and the germs that are present in the toilet.

        They examined hundreds of loos, which looked visibly clean, but in reality were infested by micro germs which are not visible to the naked eye. In response to the study, Domex in partnership with the Indian Medical Association launched its Domex Hygiene Alert public awareness drive.
