        The State government has transferred some of the IAS officials here yesterday. Girija Vaidyanathan, secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department has been appointed as Member Secretary, State Planning Commission.

        N Govindan, Special Commissioner and Director of Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities is transferred and posted as Secretary, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.

        P Selvam, Secretary, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department will now take charge as Secretary, Revenue Department.

        S Audisehiah, Secretary, Revenue Department is posted as Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation Department. R S Kanna, Joint Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Department will take charge as Director, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.

        P Annamalai, Additional Secretary, School Education Department is the new Director of Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities.

        Apoorva, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority is posted as Commissioner for Maternal Child Health and Welfare. She will also take charge as Project Director, Reproductive Child Health Project.

        N Sundaradevan, Chairman, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamilnadu Ltd is appointed as the new Chairman of Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board.

        Jothi Jagarajan, Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation Department will take charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamilnadu Ltd.

        Atulya Misra is the new Member Secretary of Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu. Kakarla Usha, Joint Commissioner (North), Commercial Taxes is posted as Joint Commissioner (Education) Chennai Corporation.

        Ashish Chatterjee, Deputy Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department is appointed as Deputy Commissioner (Works) Chennai Corporation, the release added.
