        Two students from Padma Seshadri Senior Secondary School (PSBB) brought laurels to the institution and made Chennai proud by reaching the finals of 5th All India Euro Quiz 2006-07 held in Mumbai recently. However, Bhubaneshwar St Xavier's High School students emerged champs.

        As many as 4 lakh students from 304 premier schools across 16 cities participated at the mega event on environment organised by Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment, a non-profit institute dedicated to the cause of ensuring a better, pollution-free world. And the Enviro Quiz provided a platform for the young minds to exhibit their knowledge and commitment on environment.

        The finals witnessed Kochi, Chennai, Indore and Bhubaneshwar pitted against each other in a nail biting competition. And Bhubaneshwar school lifted the trophy amidst cheering crowd.

        Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment secretary S K Palekar said, 'this is the fifth consecutive year of widening scope, growing participation and increasing depth of the Euro Enviro Quiz, which forms part of e-initiatives, a nation wide school and community programme that aims at creating role models among Indian schools and their students.
