        A special police team is leaving for Hyderabad to investigate into the case of the pimp Ravikrishnan alias Niranjan, arrested by the police yesterday when he tried to entice a constable.

        Assistant director Niranjan used to lure people at Natesan Park on Venkatnarayana Road, T Nagar, by showing photo album of nude actors, according to police. In that album, actors in Tamil and Telugu films in naked poses have find a place.

        When he tried to entice constable Palani into flesh trade, he was arrested and produced before a Saidept court and lodged in prison. The albums in his possession were seized by the police who have noted down the names, addresses and cell phones written at the back of each photograph. There was no response to the calls made by the police to the mobile phone numbers as most of them were switched off. Hence, efforts are on to contact the mobile operators to trace the names and addresses of these phone numbers.

        Police are enquiring into whether Nirajan has connections with these actor models and they have been part of his prostitution ring, or the pimp had just used their photographs to cheat the gullible people who fell into his trap. As most of the actors are from Telugu films, a special team is leaving for Hyderabad to conduct investigation over there.
