        Diarrhoea outbreak has been reported in around Gingee resulting in the death of two women.

        According to reports, Selvi (40) of Seppettai was admitted to a private hospital of diarrhoea few days ago. However, she died after she failed to respond to treatment.

        In another incident, Manimekalai (52), a teacher at the Balwadi complained of diarrhoea and died.

        Doctors at the Primary Health Centres here have been directed to visit the villages to find out the cause for the outbreak.
