        Silver is no more associated with just anklets, this metal now comes in a variety of traditional and modern jewellery.

        An array of such silver jewels are now available in the new 'Silver Branch' of Nathella Anjaneyulu Chetty and Son (NAC) that was inaugurated at Mylapore here yesterday.

        Speaking to reporters, managing director of NAC Anantha Padmanaban, said,' As silver is gaining popularity amongst the younger generation, NAC has introduced a unique collection of silver jewellery. The collection offers intricate pieces of antique silver jewellery that would definitely make a fashion statement. Apart from this, there are elegant silver designs for everyday and party wear.'

        Later, he said three customers won the 'guess the price' contest, which went on for more than a month.

        A sparkling diamond necklace was kept on display and the customer who guesses the closest price walks away with this stunning necklace. Those who purchased jewellery worth about Rs 10,000 took part in this contest.
