Seniors’ plea to Chief Minister

        The United Retirees Association (URA), Ashok Nagar has requested Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to allot a land in the suburban areas for construction of an Old Age home.

        At the general meeting held recently, the association has also requested the State Minister Suba Thangavelan to allot a flat for the office at free of cost or at a nominal rent.

        S Rajamanickam, president of URA explained the need to enroll more members and the annual subscription is Rs 100, plus admission fee is Rs 20 and the life membership is Rs 500.
