Continuing with a series of demonstrations, AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today said her party would hold a demonstration at Vedaranyam tomorrow to condemn the DMK government for not implementing various schemes worth Rs 17.26 crore announced in the previous AIADMK regime.
In a statement here, the former Chief Minister said the ruling DMK had not implemented any of the people welfare projects put forth by the AIADMK government including the construction of five bridges in Vedaranyam and Seergazhi constituencies.
Condemning this, the AIADMK would conduct a massive protest in front of Vedaranyam Taluk office tomorrow, she said.
Jayalalithaa also said organising
secretary of the party K Muthusamy and Nagapattinam district secretary
O S Manian would participate in the agitation and urged party workers to
take part in large numbers.
