        To sharpen communication skills in English among students a new course would be introduced at the Madras University from the next academic year.

        This was informed by Madras University Vice-Chancellor S Ramachandran during his speech at the seventh convocation of Shree Chandraprabhu Jain College at Minjur recently.

        He also dwelt on the need to improve the employability of the graduates for which they have to strengthen their communication skills in English.

        Kantilal H Sanghvi, secretary, Shree Chandraprabhu Jain College, and Lalith Kumar O Jain, its joint secretary, were also present on the occasion.
