        Adhiyaman College of Engineering (Hosur) claimed the football title with a solitary goal win over PSNA College (Dindigul) in the final of the TIES 2007 inter-engineering sports, organised by Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College at its Thorapakkam campus.

        Chennai's St Joseph College of Engineering took the third place accounting for JJ College of Engineering and Technology (Trichy) 3-0.

        In athletics, Giriraj of St Joseph College of Engineering claimed the long jump gold with a leap of 6.62 metres while E Esakkiraja (Valliammal) took the honours in javelin throw.

        In the women's events, M Mahadevi of Adhiyaman claimed gold in the 3,000 metres run, setting a new meet record in the process.
