        In extending its reach to more customers, HDFC Bank opened its 575th branch at Vellore.

        VIT University Chancellor G Viswanathan inaugurated the branch at a function held yesterday. Speaking at the inauguration, Surinder Chawla, vice president and regional head, branch banking, Tamilnadu said, 'we are committed to offer our customers, especially agriculturists and traders, the world class financial products and services. Our focus on efficient and quick customer service, aided by technology would allow us to offer anywhere and anytime banking with an unmatched speed of delivery.' It may be noted that the bank opened its 573th branch in Karur and 574th branch at Namakkal recently.

        With these three new branches, HDFC Bank's branch network in Tamilnadu has gone up to 31 and 575 in India.

        HDFC customers in and around Vellore can now avail of world-class banking services under one roof. These range from basic services such as savings account, fixed deposits, current account, mutual funds, lockers, NRI services, demat to sophisticated direct access banking channels like ATM, phone banking, net banking. Vellore branch is located at Office Line, Krishna Nagar.
