        Thirteen women travelling to work in a van were injured in the wee hours of today when their vehicle collided with a lorry near Tambaram on the outskirts of Chennai.

        On receiving information about the mishap, Tambaram traffic wing police rushed to the spot and sent the women to a hospital nearby. The police have registered a case in this connection. The lorry driver is reported absconding.
