Playback singer K J Yesudas receiving the citation for being selected as brand ambassador from SRK group chairman K Rashid Malik at a function in Chennai yesterday.

        Playback singer K J Yesudas was appointed as brand ambassador of Pune-based SRK group of companies which has major stakes in construction and real estate businesses.

        He will be the brand icon for the company which has lined up many projects in Kerala. Speaking at a press meet here yesterday, K Rashid Malik, chairman and managing director, SRK group, said the company was honoured to be associated with the legendary singer Yesudas who would endorse the slew of new projects being constructed by the group in Kerala.

        Elaborating on the project Sky Wings, Malik said the new residential housing project would come up in the middle of lush greenery at Kakkanad, the IT corridor of Kerala and located near another proposed township Smart City. Designed as an environment-friendly, green building Sky Wings would have hanging gardens in each flat which would help all flat residents to experience fresh breeze throughout the day.

        There would be five blocks in total comprising three residential blocks, a shopping mall and one service apartment at the rear end to form Sky Wings. All the residents of Sky Wings would have modern facilities like supermarket, office space and other amenities within the complex.
