        The Catalyst Trust , Chennai, has under its umbrella over 150 Citizens' Centers all over Tamilnadu organised with funds from the Ford Foundation. These Citizens' Centers act as information centres, discussion and discourse Centres, as well as action centres at the local level, encouraging civil society activity.

        Dr S Krishnaswamy of Krishnaswamy Associates who is also the managing trustee of the Catalyst Trust has made a 25-minute television documentary on the Citizens' Centres, which will be telecast on Podhigai Channel at 7.05 om on Saturday (22 September).
