Syntel Inc, the provider of IT and ITeS solutions, has opened its new facility at DLF SEZ (IT park) in Nandambakkam near Chennai with a built-up area of 80,000 sq ft and a seat capacity of 750.
Inaugurated by MEPZ Development Commissioner B Vijayan on Monday, the new facility would provide IT services to Syntel's clients across the health, banking and insurance verticals. The company has invested Rs 8 crore in the new office at DLF SEZ at the city outskirt. Syntel is the first occupant in the IT park.
On the expansion mode, the company would be constructing a 29-acre SEZ facility at Siruseri IT Park. In the first phase, Syntel would build 9 lakh sq ft of office space at a cost of Rs 235 crore. 'We are breaking grounds with our new 29-acre global centre in Chennai even as we continue to create world-class facilities for our clients as well as employees. We are aggressively hiring in Chennai and our investments in people and new services are helping us to deliver quality BPO and IT solutions to global clients,' said Keshav R Murugesh, president and COO, Syntel Inc.
Syntel is one of the top

and quality advantages to its customers. The company would now leverage
this model for the majority of its 2,000 clients. With a turnover of Rs
1,200 crore, the company supports the entire design - build - operate -
optimise systems of lifecycle management for corporations in the financial
services, insurance, retail, healthcare and automotive sectors.
