Terracotta Jewellery is now coming back with a flourish after a very long hiatus from our ancient past.

This humble material that makes household utensils can be fashioned to make exquisite jewellery for casual and party wear. The age of being eco-friendly is in and nothing makes a better statement than terracotta.

The malleability of clay allows it to be shaped in what ever or size we want. The designs are endless and the terracotta beads are stung together to make delicate pieces of ornamentation. Terracotta jewellery is a very popular trend these days. It is at par with more expensive items in terms of beauty of design and the variety offered.

The cost of the workshop will be Rs. 600/- for three days which is inclusive of materials and travel expenditure. For registration please contact Madras Craft Foundation, G-3, Madhuram Flats, No.6, Urur Olcott Road, Besant Nagar, Chennai – 90 or dial 9841777779, 24462435, 24918943.
