In yet another initiative, Kotak Mahindra Bank has come out with gold coins christening it as 'Gold Eternity'. Artiste and dancer exponent Shobhana formally launched Kotak Mahindra Bank's new denominations of 'Gold Eternity'-24 carat, pure Swiss gold coins of 5 gms and 8 gms and bars of 20 gms recently.

Briefing reporters, Kotak Mahindra Bank, retail liabilities and branch banking, head, K V S Manian said that the 'Gold Eternity' expanded range was aimed at entering the gift segment as well, along with the pure investment need that the higher denomination gold bars already cater to.

'The coins and bars, which are manufactured in Switzerland by gold refiners-PAMP, come in tamper-proof packing to help customers invest in gold without any concerns of purity of the metal', he said, adding that both carried Assay certification of 99.99 percent purity, signifying the highest level of purity as per international standards.

'Gold Eternity will be available across all Kotak Mahindra Bank branches in India with competitive pricing based on daily pricing in the international bullion market', Manian said, adding that there would be unique number on every certicard with records maintained in Switzerland.

'Last September, Kotak Mahindra Bank launched 'Gold Eternity' in 50 gms and 100 gms bars targetting the investment segment as gold is considered a good option to add diversification to investment portfolios', he added.
